Misu is not just a piece of craftsmanship—it is a tangible connection to Katariina, the founder and designer of Tetzu, and to her family’s past, a story passed down from generation to generation.

It all began when, as a child, Katariina secretly opened her great-grandmother’s wardrobe. Inside, she found a small, weighty leather bag whose surface had been smoothed by time and use, and whose metal clasps still faintly glimmered in the dim light. The weight of the bag in her hands conveyed something more; it carried a life, stories, and experiences.

That moment stayed with Katariina and grew far beyond childhood curiosity. When she began designing her first collection, the memory resurfaced, and the Legacy Leather collection was born. The Misu bag became an embodiment of that memory—a perfect blend of old-world elegance and modern design.

The bag features both a shorter (non-adjustable) strap and a longer (adjustable) strap, allowing it to adapt seamlessly to both casual and formal occasions. The studded details add just the right amount of edge, elevating any outfit while maintaining a sense of understated sophistication.
